Nokia G42 5G with 50MP AI camera and QuickFix repairability leaks in full

NokiaAnother day, another leak, and possibly the last one about the Nokia G42 5G since not much is left to be revealed after this. A Danish e-commerce website has now listed the Nokia G42 5G along with the image gallery of the two colour options, price, and some details that were not known previously. The listings were spotted by SuomiMobiili today, but it seems that they went live five days ago.

Anyways, the listing description says that the Nokia G42 5G will be the second Nokia smartphone after the Nokia G22 to come with the QuickFix design allowing ease of self-repairs. With the help of parts and tools available through iFixit, one can swap broken screens, old batteries, and bent charging ports on their own. Also, the device will come with a warranty period of 3 years, at least in Denmark, where it will cost DKK 1999 (€268, ₹24000, $293).

The front camera comes with a resolution of 8 MP. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the power button on the right side, while the SIM card tray is towards the left. The loudspeaker and the charging port are at the bottom, and one microphone is at the top.

Now that it is known how the Nokia G42 5G looks in the purple colour option, it makes it clear that the image that leaked on FCC, which was seen again in the promo video leak today, is the colour option of the Nokia G310 5G, meant for the US market. Anyhow, the launch date of both devices is still anyone’s guess.
