Unlike last year where the G20 came with a slightly faster processer compared to the G10, this year’s entry-level G11 comes with an identical chipset to its fancier sibling, the G21. This alone has a nice potential to elevate the user experience, even though the rest of the spec bump over the G10 is pretty minimal. On paper, you basically get a display that now finally supports 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, WiFi AC which wasn’t supported on last year’s model, and faster charging at 18 watts compared to 10 watts last year, even though the charger included in the box is still a 10 watts brick. Some market variants also come with NFC for mobile payments. There is of course the design refresh and new color options too. Here are my full thoughts on the G11:
