Three Nokia phones will be featured in the upcoming James Bond movie

Nokia Mobile officially announced that the toughest Nokia smartphone, Nokia XR20, will be promoted as the smartphone for 00 agent Naomi that Lashana Lynch is playing in the new James Bond movie No Time To Die.

Not so long ago, the official James Bond-themed promo video with Lashana as its main protagonist was (re)released with Nokia XR20 replacing the Nokia 5.3 and later Nokia 8.3 5G. I kind of expected to see new Nokia phones digitally inserted in the movie, but that is less likely to happen since the production of that kind of effect costs more than Nokia Mobile and movie producers could afford now.

The official statement mentioned that Nokia 3310 will be featured in the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die movie, but a little bird told us that will be seeing Nokia 8.3 5G and Nokia 7.2 (thanks birdie). This will surely raise the price of second hand Nokia 7.2 devices :).

Here is the official press statement from Nokia Mobile:

Nokia phones feature in the hotly anticipated James Bond movie No Time To Die

The only gadgets you’ll ever need – Nokia phones by HMD Global take on their toughest test in No Time To Die

UK, London, 16 September 2021– Meeting the demands of the world’s toughest customers – 00 agents – stunning Nordic designed Nokia smartphones including the iconic Nokia 3310 phone appear in the 25th James Bond movie, No Time To Die, released in cinemas globally from September 30th 2021.

Nokia phones are built to last thanks to their signature quality build, leading security updates and AndroidTM upgrades making them the perfect phone, even for a 00 agent. Tough, resilient and life-proof[i], the new Nokia XR20 is the latest 5G[ii] Nokia smartphone to feature in a Bond inspired TVC with British actress Lashana Lynch who appears in character as 00 agent Nomi from No Time To Die.

Lashana Lynch, who plays 00 agent Nomi in No Time To Die, said: “The world we live in now means we all have the ultimate gadget in our pockets. It’s amazing what smartphones can do nowadays.”

The Nokia XR20 can survive in blistering temperatures of 55C or icy ski slopes of –20C and can even handle steep drops of up to 1.8m[iii] as well as up to one hour underwater[iv]. Future-proof as well as life-proof, the Nokia XR20 is built to last and boasts the longest ever monthly security updates from Nokia phones – four years – and up to three years of software upgrades. With an up to two-day battery life[v], it will also go the distance on a single charge. A Nokia phone is the only gadget you’ll ever need.

The new Nokia XR20 is available in UK in Ultra Blue and Granite Grey and comes in 4/64GB and 6/128GBvi[vi] configurations starting at £399.99. Please see HERE for Nokia XR20 assets.

I wonder who will be using 3310. Hope villains won’t get their hands on it, since Bond will have trouble defeating them with having the toughest man built gadget.
