Nokia 5.4, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 receiving new security patch

Nokia Mobile started releasing the January Security patch for its Nokia 6.2, and Nokia 7.2, while Nokia 5.4 received a December security patch. The update for Nokia 5.4 is 43.11 MB large, and it should be available globally.

The update for Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 also started popping up on devices around the world. Our Nokia 7.2 also got the January security patch, which is not that large, just 5.86 MB (headline photo). The update for Nokia 6.2 is almost the same in size as the update for Nokia 7.2 (5.89 MB).

Nobody reported any trouble after the installation, so do check your devices for the update and make them secure and up to date. The Update tracker for January 2021 is slowly filling up with the updated device. There are now 8 reported devices that got the January update. Some 30 more to go 🙂
