Nokia 6.1 Plus now receiving Nearby Share feature in India

Some Nokia smartphones started receiving Nearby Share feature, which is provided by Google. As you can see from the screenshots below, this software feature can be reached through the drop-down menu, or in the Connection preferences, and it enables quick content sharing between phones. The Share Nearby app is a system one, and to be active, it requires Bluetooth and Location turned on. Sometimes it will also need a WiFi Hotspot, so don’t be surprised.

The UI graphics of the app are pretty basic, and it could use a visual upgrade, but this is probably not something you’ll be watching that frequently, so it would bother you much.
If you are in India, do check your Nokia smartphones (not only the Nokia 6.1 Plus) and share the info about the availability of this new AndroidOne option.

ThanksGarvit for the tip and screenshots 😉
