Nokia set to launch new wireless earphones by Flipkart in India

Last month, a new Nokia branded product surfaced on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) database under the product class “Power Banks for use in Portable Applications,” which, as per Bluetooth, is the charging case for the upcoming Bluetooth 5.1 powered Nokia earphones. After a month, the earphones carrying the same model number (T3110) were also certified by BIS on March 8.

Now, an article by Gadgets Now (Times Of India) confirms that the new Nokia wireless earphones will be launched by none other than Flipkart in India. The report also asserts that the earphones will have a run time of up to 22 hours and assumes the price to stay within the range of ₹5000 (€58, $69).

The pictures posted by the tech site prove the proximity between the Nokia earphones (T3110) by Flipkart and the Nokia Pro True Wireless Earphones (P3802A) by RichGo Technology, which is bound to happen since both of them are designed and manufactured by the same company, DongGuan Koppo Electronics.

After HMD Global and RichGo Technology, Flipkart is the third Nokia brand licensee to launch audio products. There’s some sort of association between RichGo Technology and HMD Global. The latter is selling select Nokia audio products by RichGo Technology in the regions where it is not present.

However, Flipkart is bringing the product to India on its own, as the Bluetooth certification is registered under DongGuan Koppo Electronics and not RichGo Technology. The launch should happen soon as the details about the earphones started popping on the internet long back in January.
